Clarification (2025-02-12)

The FE published a story headlined, 'Dhaka bourse's faulty IPO list confuses investors' in its February 10 issue where it was mentioned that the IPO application of Protective Islami Life Insurance PLC, among a few other IPO applications, was rejected by the securities regulator.
However, Mr. Farhad Uddin, addl. managing director and company secretary of the said insurance company, through a mail has claimed that their IPO application was not rejected, rather the company itself had withdrawn it 'for fresh filing'.
