Clash between AL, BNP leaves 15 hurt in Ctg

CHITTAGONG, Sep 18 (UNB): At least 15 people were injured in a clash between the activists of ruling Awami League (AL) and Bangladesh Nationalist Party (BNP) over establishing supremacy at Ranirhat in Rangunia Upazila Wednesday night.
Sources said a group of BNP activists allegedly launched attack on the activists of AL and Bangladesh Chhatra League (BCL) at Ranirhat at 12 midnight Wednesday triggering a fierce clash that left 15 people from both sides injured.
Of the injured, BCL activist Mohammad Shahidul (18), Modasser (25) and Touhidul Islam (33) were admitted to Chittagong Medical College Hospital in critical condition.
On information, the police rushed to the spot and brought the situation under control.
