Clash leaves 10 injured in Narsingdi

NARSINGDI, Aug 22 (UNB): At least 10 people were critically injured in a fierce clash between two rival groups at Gopinathpur village in Raipura Upazila here Tuesday.
Police and local people said there was a longstanding conflict between Ismail Mia and Dulal Mia over establishing supremacy in the village.
They said supporters of Ismail Mia and Dulal Mia locked in an altercation over a trifling matter at noon and later they, equipped with home made weapons, attacked each other.
The injured were sent to different local clinics for treatment.
