Clashes rock Jerusalem\\\'s Al-Aqsa Mosque

Palestinians and Israeli forces clashed at Jerusalem's Al-Aqsa Mosque for a third straight day, as Israeli forces were seen on the roof of the holy site.
Suleiman Ahmad, the president of Jerusalem's Affairs Department, who is currently at the scene, told the reporters that at least 16 Palestinians were injured in the clashes early Tuesday.
"They have placed snipers on the rooftops and are using rubber bullets," Sleiman said.
Israeli police are set to allow Jewish activists to tour the courtyards of the mosque, which in the past has stirred angry reactions from Palestinians who fear Israel may change the rules for visiting Al-Aqsa compound.
The tours, which are accompanied by a heavy Israeli police presence, last until 0800 GMT, according to Al-Jazeera.
