Classes of Barisal University to start from next session

BARISAL, Apr 30 (UNB): Classes of Barisal University (BU), the only public university in Barisal division and the 34th public university of the country, will start from the next academic session after admission of students following publication of the results of the ongoing HSC examinations. Vice Chancellor (VC) of the BU Prof Dr Harun-or-Rashid disclosed this while exchanging views with representatives from different walks of life in a meeting at Barisal Circuit House Thursday night. The VC said appointment of the teachers will be completed very soon. Barisal University Project Implementation Parishad organized the meeting with Prof M Hanif, convener of the parishad, in the chair.
