Classes of Masters in Dev Studies begins at IUB

The classes of third batch of Master's in Development Studies (MDS) for Autumn semester begins at the Independent University Bangladesh (IUB), said a press release.
An orientation ceremony was held to welcome the new students at its campus in the city Sunday.
The ceremony started with a welcome note by the IUB Director of the school Nazrul Islam.
At the outset, new students were introduced to the faculty members of the school. Vice Chancellor Bazlul Mobin Chowdhury congratulated the students for choosing development studies programme at IUB and urged them to take all possible academic advantages of the University to become world class professionals.
Later , the students met the faculty members in an informal gathering and shared their views about the prospects and future job opportunities.
IUB Pro Vice Chancellor Omar Rahman, Registrar Tanvir A Khan, faculty members and senior management staff were also present among others.
