Clean up Uttara lake please!

Uttara is now attracting a lot of people because most of the elitist schools have shifted to the area and many malls and markets have sprung up to cater to their needs. But unfortunately, many sectors are literally turning into open sewers and garbage dumps, for example, the lake straddling sectors 5 and 7.
There seems to be no authority functioning here to stop the lake from turning into a stinking cesspool. Sewerage and garbage from households and other units are openly being drained and dumped into the lake as if there is a malafide plan to fill it up and develop it as prime plots! This mischief must be halted at once. Will the authorities concerned act?
