C\\\'nawabganj Shibir leader arrested

Police arrested a local unit leader of Islami Chhatra Shibir at Bholahat upazila in Chapainawabganj district on Wednesday. The arrestee, Sohel Rana, is general secretary of Bholahat upazila unit of Shibir, the student front of Jamaat-e-Islami. He is the son of Jamsed Ali, a resident of Nimgachhi village under the Upazila. Abu Farhad, officer-in-charge of Bholahat Police Station, said acting on a tip-off, police picked up Rana from his Nimgachhi house around 4:00am. He is accused in three cases, including murder, the OC claimed, according to UNB.
