CNG auto ride

Every day when I board a CNG auto-rickshaw from Janakantha Bhaban I have to take an oath as administered by the driver that I will tell the police that I am travelling as per fare meter. Unfortunately, I have to negotiate the fare ranging from Tk 100 to Tk 70 for the distance between Janakantha Bhaban, New Eskaton and Bashundhara City Shopping Complex, Pantha Path. Normally fare meter indicates Tk 25 only but at times due to traffic congestion fare meter rises according to delay in traffic. Is it not nurturing corruption of one type though we are preaching control of corruption? How a non-resident of Dhaka and especially the foreign tourists manage CNG travel makes me wonder. Let the authority do something praise-worthy in this regard.
