CNG filling stations to remain open for 24-hr for 9-day

CNG refueling stations will remain open for 24 hours from July 24 to August 1 to facilitate the smooth transportation of homebound people on the occasion of Holy Eid-ul-Fitr, said Petrobangla on Thursday. Usually, CNG refueling pumps remain closed from 5pm to 9pm every day as per a decision of the government which was taken as part of gas rationing because of energy crisis. But the CNG refueling stations were asked to remain closed from 3 pm to 9 pm by extending the closing time by another 2 hours from the first day of Ramadan for smooth household gas supply. Petrobangla officials said the CNG refueling stations will revert to their 5 pm to 9 pm closure schedule from August 2 next, according to a news agency.
