CNG only for public transport

Tuesday, 26 October 2010

It is obvious that the government decision to shut down the CNG (compressed natural gas) filling stations for six hours a day has put some pressure on the owners of vehicles of all varieties. But I suggest to the government to totally stop supply of CNG, which is a cheap fuel, to private vehicles. As CNG is cheaper, even middle class people are buying private cars with loans from banks/financial institutions. This aggravates traffic jams.
CNG should be provided only for the use of public transport, which serves the cause of the mass people, but not for the rich people. The rich people who have enough money to buy cars should use costlier diesel/petroleum to run their private vehicles.
