CNG stations to remain open round-the-clock Oct 1-11

The government has decided to keep CNG filling stations (gas station) open for 24 hours from October 1 to 11 for Holy Eid-ul-Azha. Communications Minister Obaidul Quader informed this while talking to the reporters in the city on Thursday. ‘All the CNG filling stations will remain open round-the-clock between October 1 and October 11 on the occasion of Eid (Eid-ul-Azha),’ he said. The road transport minister also informed that the movements of trucks will be regulated on the highways three days before and after the Eid. ‘However, trucks, carrying essential commodities and readymade garments for export will be exempted,’ he said after an inter-ministerial meeting of railway, waterway and the communications ministry, according to private TV channels.
