Coal import thru\\\' 2 Sylhet land ports suspended

Coal import from India through Tamabil and Sheola land stations remained suspended for the last couple of days as the Indian traders stopped supply protesting one per cent tax imposition on coal export by their government. According to coal importers in the district, the supply of coal from India remained suspended since Wednesday. The Indian exporters have suspended the supply in protest against imposition of one percent tax on coal export by their government that has been in effect since Wednesday, they added, according to UNB.
