Coal import thru Sylhet land ports on hold

SYLHET, Apr 6: Coal import from India through Tamabil and Sheola land stations remained suspended since Wednesday as the Indian traders stopped supply, protesting the one per cent tax imposition on coal export by their government. The Indian exporters have suspended the supply in protest against imposition of the one per cent tax that has been in effect since Wednesday, importers said. — UNB
