Coalmine case Khaleda’s next hearing June 15

Tuesday, 14 April 2015

A Dhaka court deferred on Monday until June 15 the hearing against BNP chairperson Khaleda Zia and 15 other people in the Barapukuria coalmine graft case, reports UNB.
Judge Hosna Ara Begum of Dhaka's Special Judge's Court-2 fixed the date anew as the case is pending with the High court.
The court also asked Khaleda's counsels to submit a copy of the HC order on the fixed day.
Earlier on March 16, the same court summoned the BNP chief, now on bail, and other accused in the graft case to appear before it on April 13.
Meanwhile, a High Court bench on April 9 extended its stay order by six months on the proceedings of the Barapukuria coalmine corruption case.
