Cocaine seizure: Court summons Ctg port, customs officials

A court in Chittagong summoned on Saturday the officials concerned of the Chittagong Port Authority and the customs department to appear before it by Sunday to explain how the liquid cocaine reached the port. Jafar Alam, director (admin) of the port authority, said the Chittagong Metropolitan Magistrate’s Court summoned the officials to present their explanation about the seizure of liquid cocaine at Chittagong port on June 8, according to a news agency.
