Cold winter: Effects of climate change?

Tuesday, 16 January 2018

A brutal cold wave has crippled the country with dense fogs all around and abnormally low temperature. Environmentalists will blame emission of smoke from industries and vehicles, mass destruction of forests and green areas, dams on canals and rivers, excess use of chemicals in agricultural fields, etc. for the cold winter. While the scientists of the world identified many of the above effects contributing to the phenomenon of climate change that is currently sweeping the world, it might as well be concluded that the present cold spell is an effect of climate change. Many steps are being taken by the government and international community to control the climate change effects but those are not sufficient. Only awareness of the people about its causes and effects can reduce the bitterness of climate change.
