College Rugby meet begins tomorrow

The Quick City College Rugby competition will begin tomorrow (Friday) at the Paltan ground adjoining Bangabandhu National Stadium in the city, reports BSS.
Aminul Islam Khan, deputy secretary of Education Ministry, is expected to inaugurate the meet as the chief guest.
A total of 10 teams will compete in the competition, sponsored by Bangladesh Business Consulting and organised by Bangladesh Rugby Federation.
In this regards, a press conference was held Wednesday at the Bangabandhu National Stadium conference room to give all the details of the meet.
Bangladesh Business Consulting Executive KM Wazed Ali Masum, Rugby Federation vice president Abdullah Al Zaher, tournament committee chairman Anwar Hossain and Rugby Federation general secretary Moushum Ali, were present, among others, on the occasion.
Participating teams: Dhaka Imperial College, Gazipur Cantonment College, Kabi Nazrul Government College, Doctor Malika College, Rajendrapur Cantonment Public School & College, Cambrian College, Dhaka Commerce College, Adamji Cantonment College, Saint Joseph Higher Secondary School and Capital College.
