College student \\\'abducted\\\' in Sylhet

Miscreants abducted a college student in Sylhet city on Monday. The victim was identified as Nasrin Akhtar, a student of third year (Accounting) of Modon Mohan College. Witnesses said that Nasrin with her classmates were waiting for a rickshaw in front of the college. All on a sudden, a gang of 4-5 miscreants appeared there by a CNG-run auto-rickshaw and dragged Nasrin into the vehicle. A little while later, a white colour microbus arrived in front of the auto-rickshaw and the miscreants forcibly took her into the microbus and quickly left the area. A general diary (GD) was lodged with Sylhet’s Kotwali Police Station in connection with the incident, according to a news agency.
