College student dies falling off rooftop

A young man was killed falling off the rooftop of a multi-storey building in Rampura area in the city on Monday. The dead is Kamrul Islam, alias Pappu, 20, son of Abdul Kader Mia. He passed A Level from Mastermind School and College in Dhaka. Locals and family sources said he fell down to the ground from the rooftop of a building at Banasree under Rampura Police Station on Sunday midnight. He was rescued and rushed to Dhaka Medical College Hospital where the attending doctor declared him dead around 1:00am, according to private TV channels.
