College student hacked to death in Netrakona

NETRAKONA, Aug 10 (UNB): A college student was hacked to death allegedly by his friends over a trifling matter at Netrakona University College campus in the district Saturday.
The deceased was identified as Ifti, 16, an HSC student and son of Mirza Azizur Rahman Hablu of Satpai Kalibari area in the municipality area.
Police said Efti had an altercation with his friend Akash over a trifling mater on the college campus.
At one stage, Akash hit him with a sharp weapon, leaving him critically injured. He was rushed to sadar hospital where doctors declared him dead.
