College student killed in city road mishap

Students staged demonstration Sunday following a road accident that killed a college student at Uttara in the capital disrupting traffic movement for an hour, police said.
Witnesses said a bus of Milestone College crushed Sajib Khan, a student of Tongi College, at about 9:00am while he was crossing the road, leaving him fatally wounded.
He was rushed to Bangladesh Medical College and Hospital where attending doctors declared him dead.
On hearing the tragic accident, Sajib's fellow students became violent and blockaded the Dhaka-Mymensingh highway, causing immense sufferings to the road users.
