College student killed in Panchagarh truck crash

A college student was killed as a speeding truck knocked down him in Tentulia Upazila in Panchagarh district on Thursday night. The dead is Sohel Rana, 21, son of Sobed Ali, hailing from Padiagach (Khutagaj) village. He was an HSC student of Bhajanpur Degree College. Witnesses said a Panchagarh-bound truck hit Sohel when he was crossing the Panchagarh-Tentulia road after taking tea from a nearby shop around 8.00pm, leaving him dead on the spot, according to a news agency.
