Coming of Aliens!

The existence of Aliens, in outer space or elsewhere in our Solar System or beyond; has always been a fascinating topic to look into. Pessimists, usually tend not to transgress on the matter of unknown beings from outer space arriving on earth. On the other hand; others who may be labeled as optimistic are curious about its possibilities; and the subsequent eventualities that we may have to face; given this entirely unknown events that may take place with other creatures from outer space! In April 2010, Stephen Hawkins, the only scientific authority of this generation has stated that we have to be cautious about our interaction with them; given our trend to explore outer space. He believes that there is every possibility of the existence of 'Aliens' in outer space or even other Galaxy; and beyond our planetary system. His reasons behind being cautious; and avoid any contacts with Aliens as far as possible are based on our inglorious historical realities of past centuries. Earlier when Africa was explored, and later when the two American continents across the Atlantic was discovered; the so-called civilised Western countries behaved in the most atrocious and cruel manner! It was highlighted by brutal exploitation in the most violent manner based on the technically better arms that the civilised people had with them! They systematically looted all the possession and wealth belonging to the native population and enslaved them to serve the westerners! This was a brutal and violent exploitation of native fellow human beings. The historical fact remains, that the white skinned sailors and settlers from civilised (?) Europe exterminated the Red Indians from North America. The same thing was done to the native tribes in South America mostly in the coastal plains; since the outsiders could not cross or go into the high mountains of South America, where the natives survived! In contrast the Asian explorers who came from a more developed society did not carry out such atrocities and looting in Africa or even America, where they had gone earlier than the Europeans as far as historical records are concerned. Given this background, and logically assuming that the 'Aliens' will possibly be far advanced and technologically superior to us; then it may well be our turn on earth to face harsh and violent behavior from the Aliens; unless they have totally different norms of interactions compared to us. We should, therefore, evaluate our position with caution; and for safety, be prepared for the worst! In reality; this will be an unprecedented interaction between two possibly totally dissimilar civilisations and social orders; where the trend for the Aliens to possibly subjugate us to bend us to their norms and ways of life cannot be ignored. The reality on earth, is that even today in our so-called civilised world the facts of skin color, racial and religious differences leads us to many violent armed conflicts where large number of people are killed and injured; all in the name of different political or religious alignments! Today there are, if not visible then social undercurrents of color and racial divisions between white, black and yellow tinted skin difference which extends to bodily stature, facial structure and expressions that possibly also leads to different levels of physical, mental and social trends. These are facts that cannot be simply glossed over! Even today, we have wars and violent conflicts ultimately rooted to the exploitation of mineral resources in particular geographical locations! Take the case of the Middle East, where oil and gas has been the bone of contention directly or indirectly between the Muslim Middle East and the Christian West. The root cause boils down to the greed for the energy resources of Middle East. The outcome is the 'grab as grab can' attitude, which can be cajoling or threatening--depending on the circumstances, opportunities of political alignments and maneuvering potentials that can be available! Who knows when the superior Aliens arrive; they will quickly size up all our powerful countries on earth and make them eat 'humble pie' for a change! They may even finally resolve the perennial conflict between the east and the west to their advantage and as the saying goes; 'make hay while the sun shines' on the disharmony on earth. That may well be, how the Aliens may govern their new colony now called 'Earth'! .....................................................................
