Commemorative stamp released

Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina on Wednesday morning released a commemorative postage stamp and a first day cover at her official residence Ganobhaban marking the 44th Independence and National Day. A special canceller was used on the occasion. Bangladesh Post Office issued the stamp of Tk 10 and the first day cover of the same denomination, marking the 44th Independence and National Day. Posts and Telecommunications Minister Abdul Latif Siddiqui was present on the occasion, according to UNB.
