Commerce Bank to open brokerage house to support investors

Bangladesh Commerce Bank (BCB) is going to open a brokerage house in the city's Gulshan area to provide support to the investors of stock markets, reports BSS.
Chairman of Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) Md Ziaul Hoque Khondoker will inaugurate the house at a functi (tomorrow) Wednesday.
Managing Director of BCB Mohammad Farhad Hossain told the news agency that the new brokerage house would help the bank increase its profit and overcome difficulties.
The bank earned Tk 112.50 million profit during the last six months that ended on June 30, 2009 while its deposits increased to Tk 7.34 billion.
