Commercial Bank of Ceylon launches global credit card

Commercial Bank of Ceylon (CBC) PLC has launched its Global Credit Card in Bangladesh at a ceremony held at the bank's card centre in Dhaka.
Managing Director of the bank AL Gooneratne officially launched two types of cards called 'Combank Global Gold Card' and 'Combank Global Classic Card' for the convenience of its clients and cardholders.
'Combank Global Credit Card' offers billing in taka for both local and international use without exchange loss and it is accepted at over 26 million merchant outlets at home and abroad.
CBC has also equipped itself to provide 24-hour call centres to attend customers' queries on card and other products and services.
CBC is one of the emerging foreign banks habituated to be innovating in introducing new products and services, which endeared itself to a host of potential customers, according to a press release.
