Committee formed to develop Bangladesh Climate Change plan

A six-member committee was formed Wednesday to frame a fresh 'Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan' for combating the adversities stemming from climate change as the country is considered highly vulnerable to climate change and variability, reports UNB. The committee was formed in the third meeting of the committee constituted to recast the Bangladesh Climate Change Strategy and Action Plan-2008. Chaired by Planning Minister Air Vice-Marshal (retd) AK Khandaker, the meeting was held at Forest and Environment Ministry.
