‘Communal evil forces not rooted out yet’

Information and Broad-casting Minister Dr Hasan Mahmud on Saturday stressed the need for staying alert about evil communal forces as they usually try to raise their ugly heads ahead of national election, reports UNB.
"Though the communal forces were controlled with our collective efforts but they are yet to be uprooted. We have to stay alert about them," he said.
The information minister came up with remarks while speaking at a programme after inaugurating the Mahalaya festival of Hindu community at Banani field in the city.
"Communal forces are still active in the country. They engage in communal provocations from time to time for their vested interests," he said.
