Community Bank gets new DMD

Community Bank has promoted Md Abdul Qaium Khan to Deputy Managing Director and Chief Information Officer (CIO) recently.
He has been working with the bank since its inception as SEVP and Chief Information Officer (CIO).
He started off his banking career with BRAC Bank as a Network and Infrastructure Manager.
Prior to joining Community Bank, Qaium Khan had also served Bank Asia Ltd and Standard Bank Ltd as Head of IT. He also worked with EXIM Bank.
Qaium Khan completed his B.Sc. in Electrical and Electronic Engineering (EEE) from the BUET and MBA from Dhaka University.
At the same time, Shamsul Haque Sufyani has been promoted to Senior Executive Vice President & Chief Operating Officer. He was serving the bank since its inception as Head of Operations.
Prior to joining Community Bank, Shamsul Haque served BRAC Bank Limited as Head of Trade Operations.
