COMMUNITY BANK SIGNS DEAL TO JOIN BB REFINANCE FACILITY

Community Bank Bangladesh signed a participatory agreement with the Bangladesh Bank to join the refinance programme under Small and Medium Enterprise Development Project-2 (SMEDP-2). The project is a flagship initiative of the Bangladesh Bank, supported by development partners, targeting job creation, enterprise growth, and improved competitiveness within the SME sector. S. M. Abdul Hakim, executive director (Grade-1), Bangladesh Bank, graced the programme. Munira Islam, director, SMEDP-2 of Bangladesh Bank; and Kimiwa Saddat, managing director (current charge) of Community Bank, signed the agreement at the Bangladesh Bank.
