Comprehensive training course on capital market in Ctg ends

CHITTAGONG, July 13: The month-long comprehensive training course on 'Capital Market' organised by Chittagong Stock Exchange (CSE) concluded in the city recently.
The participants of the course were awarded certificates at the concluding ceremony, said a press release.
CSE Chief Executive Officer (CEO) AB Siddique attended the function as the chief guest.
Mr AB Siddique in his speech said, "Through this comprehensive course, CSE has produced a number of matured professionals in stock markets."
He also urged the Securities and Exchange Commission (SEC) to implement the long-cherished demand for a securities institute in the country.
Mr Siddique further said, "It is one of the noble endeavours of the CSE that it has been organising comprehensive training courses aiming at resolving the dearth of skilled human resources in the bourses."
Saying capital market is the largest source of capital for entrepreneurs, he expressed the hope that more and more entrepreneurs would come forward to acquire bigger capital for industrialisation.
Among others, CSE Company Secretary Ahmad Dawood, GM and Head of Compliance Department Mohd Atiquzzaman, GM and Head of Systems Department Abdul Mutaleb and Course Coordinator and Manager (Market Development) Kamal Uddin Jalal were present on the occasion.
