Computerisation of 55 BKB branches

With a view to widening the on-going computerisation programme of Bangladesh Krishi Bank (BKB), an agreement was signed between the bank and M/S Desktop Computer Connection Ltd. at a programme in the city recently.
BKB Deputy General Manager (Common Service Department) Md Lutfur Rahman and Desktop Computer Managing Director Borhan Uddin signed the agreement on behalf of their respective organisations.
Under the agreement, M/S Desktop Computer will supply necessary hardware, software and other accessories to 55 branches of the bank during its 2nd and 3rd phases of computerisation programme.
Chairman of the bank SA Chowdhury and Managing Director M Fazlul Hoque, general managers and senior executives and Desklop Computer Managing Director Khondoker Arifur Rahman and senior executives were also present, among others, on the occasion.
Previously, a total of 28 branches and one office of the bank were computerised first phase of its five-year programme.
