Comrade Jasim Uddin Mandal passes away

Anti-British movement leader Comrade Jasim Uddin Mandal died at a city hospital on Monday morning, reports BSS.
He was 95.
Born in 1922, Jasim Uddin Mandal took part in the anti-British movement. Later, he joined the Communist Party in 1940.
Prime Minister Sheikh Hasina expressed deep shock at his death. She prayed for eternal peace of his departed soul and conveyed profound sympathy to the bereaved family memvers.
