Concreting work of BSRM Steels going in full-swing

Bangladesh Steel Re-rolling Mills (BSRM) Steels Limited, a sister concern of H Akbarali Group of Companies, situated at Fouzderhat Industrial Estate in Chittagong, is doing its concreting works in full-swing.
Once implemented, the BSRM Steels will be the largest rolling mills in Southeast Asia having 0.3 million tonnes (3.0 lakh) production capacity per annum and capable to produce international standard re-rolled steel products.
Recently, about 600 cum of casting has been done in the steel company at one time which is one of the largest casting ever done in the heavy industrial concerns in Bangladesh at one go.
This casting was accomplished with two batching plants and two concrete pumping units.
The construction work of the steel mills was accomplished by BIDCO, the civil contractor, as well as with assistance of the Concord Company.
The steel mills, in the process of implementing one of the most modern hot rolling mills, will contribute towards the growth of a stronger Bangladesh, once the implementation is complete.
