Condition of Opposition Chief Whip Tajul Islam improving

Condition of Opposition Chief Whip and also Chairman of Parliamentary Standing Committee on Commerce Ministry Tajul Islam Chowdhury is improving. Hospital and family sources said Tajul Islam Chowdhury fell sick on Monday evening while distributing relief to the flood victims in his constituency in Kurigram Sadar Upazila. He was taken to Kurigram hospital and later flown to Dhaka. He was admitted to BIRDEM hospital in the city’s Shahbagh area on Tuesday. His doctor said, the Jatiya Party lawmaker has been suffering from pneumonia. He is receiving treatment under medicine specialist Dr Delwar, according to a news agency.
