The three-day Bose Conference on Contemporary Physics-08 begins at the University of Dhaka today (Wednesday).
The inaugural session of the conference will be held in the Physics Seminar Room, MKH Bigyan Bhaban at 9:30 am.
Professor Dr SMA Faiz, Vice-Chancellor of the university will be present in the programme as the chief guest. Professor Dr AFM Yusuf Haider, pro-vice chancellor and Professor Abul Kalam Azad, treasurer, University of Dhaka will also be present as special guests.
The conference, to be held from March 19 to March 21, is being jointly sponsored by the Physics Department, University of Dhaka and the Abdus Salam International Centre for Theoretical Physics, Trieste, Italy.
