CONFERENCE OF CAMLCOS OF SCHEDULED BANKS
Bangladesh Financial Intelligence Unit (BFIU) organised a two-day conference of the chief anti-money laundering compliance officers (CAMLCOs) of scheduled banks, beginning on May 08. The conference is aimed at strengthening the role of banks in combating money laundering and terrorist financing, as well as enhanceing overall awareness and compliance.The event took place at a local hotel in Cox's Bazar and was attended by senior officials from BFIU and Bangladesh Bank. Iqtiaruddin Md. Mamun, head of BFIU, spoke at the event as chief guest.
