Congrats to Lux-Channel I winners!

Nadia Afrin has become the new title holder of the Lux channel I 2014 and I am sure we are witnessing another star in the making. It is one of the most prestigious awards a Bangladeshi girl aspiring to work in the media, can win. Surely Tania has a bright future along with two other runners up, Nazifa Anzum and Nilanjona Neela.
I thank the Lux and Channel I authorities for launching such a praiseworthy initiative as it will certainly go a long way in encouraging young talents to join the media. Over the years, we have seen the winners of Lux-Channel I titles becoming cinema and television stars. We now have a serious dearth of new talents in our media and if we want our movies and dramas to improve, we must give such talents a chance. I look forward to seeing the Lux-Channel I title winners excel on the visual media and become household names. Congratulations to the winners and all the best for their future!
