Construction worker electrocuted in Barisal

A construction worker died from electrocution in Gas Turbain area in Barisal city on Wednesday afternoon. The deceased was identified as Mahatab Hossain, 35, son of Rafiq Howlader, a resident of Rupatali area of the city. Family sources said Mahatab came in contact with a live electric wire while he was working at a construction site of a factory at around 1:30pm. Locals rescued him and rushed him to Sher-e-Bangla Medical College Hospital where the on-duty doctor declared him dead, according to UNB.
