Continental Chess begins today

The Asian Continental Chess Championship begins today (Sunday) in Al Ain, United Arab Emirates, reports BSS.
Five members Bangladesh Chess team- GM Ziaur Rahman, GM Mollah Abdullah Al Rakib and GM Enamul Hossain Razib- will participate in the open section while WIM Shamima Akter Liza will take part in the women's section. The open event is a qualifying event of World Cup Chess and women's section is a qualifying for the Women's World Chess. International Arbiter M Haroon or Rashid of Bangladesh was nominated as the chief arbiter of the event.
