Continental Ins employees urged to achieve business target

Continental Insurance Limited (CIL) held the company's half-yearly conference-2007 at the Jamuna Resort, adjacent to Jamuna Bridge, recently.
Chaired by CIL Managing Director Md Hashmat Ali, the conference was attended, among others, by its Chairman Md Musa Meah and Director AKM Azizur Rahman as the chief guest and the special guest respectively.
All branch in-charges and departmental heads of head office of the company took part in the conference. Many of them participated in the deliberations with some valuable suggestions towards overall improvement of its activities as well as business promotion.
CIL chairman expressed profound satisfaction over the business performance of the branches during the year 2007.
He advised the participants to devote themselves to further increasing the company's business as well as improvement of standard of services to the clients of the company.
The chairman urged upon the participants to turn the company into one of the best companies as early as possible.
He highlighted plans and programmes undertaken by the management for bringing the company to a new height of success.
On behalf of the company, he announced the donation of Tk 0.2 million (2.0 lakh) for the flood-affected people.
Director Rahman also spoke on the occasion and advised the participants to engage themselves in acquiring specialised knowledge to serve the insuring clients even better in future.
