Contractor gunned down in city

A gang of armed miscreants swooped on a contractor on Culvert road in the city's Arambagh area on Thursday morning and sprayed bullets on him, leaving him dead on the spot. The deceased was identified as Sultan Ahmed, 42, a contractor of Water Development Board and resident of Kadamtala of Sabujbagh Police Station in the city, according to private TV channels.
