Contractor killed by garment worker

SAVAR, July 5 (UNB): A contractor was allegedly killed by a garment worker in Kalma area of the upazila Wednesday.
Police said workers of garment factory 'Hot Dress Ltd.' attacked and beat up Ripon, who was working on sub- contract in the factory, as he failed to clear their arrears.
At one stage, one of the workers identified as Mollah Shamim stabbed Ripon indiscriminately leaving him critically injured.
Doctors declared him dead when two workers - Masum and Farhad - took him to a local clinic.
On information, police arrested Masum and Farhad from the clinic and Shamim from the garment factory. A case was filed in this connection
