Contribution of Ispahanis to IBACC lauded

The Institute of Business Administration Communication Club (IBACC), the student body of the IBA, University of Dhaka, held a formal inauguration ceremony of its club office on the IBA premises on Wednesday, says a press release.
Presided over by the Director of IBA, Professor G M Chowdhury, the inauguration ceremony was attended, among others, by Mr Salman Ispahani, managing director, MM Ispahani Ltd., Professor Syed Munir Khasru of IBA and Mr Saif Noman Khan, moderator of IBACC, and other IBA faculty members and students of IBA.
The Director of IBA expressed his appreciation of the sponsorship of the office set-up of IBACC by M M Ispahani Ltd. Professor Chowdhury expressed the hope that other business houses would follow the example of the Ispahanis and extend support to IBA, the leading business school of Bangladesh, in promoting the extracurricular activities of students.
In his speech as the chief guest Mr Salman Ispahani expressed continued commitment of the Ispahani Group in the development and growth of IBA in different spheres of its activities. Mr Ispahani lauded the role of IBA in providing the country with the best qualified business school graduates and encouraged IBA students to join the well-reputed local business houses. The ceremony ended with a spectacular audio visual presentation of the activities and achievements of IBACC.
Through this ceremony, IBA acknowledged the contribution of MM Ispahani Ltd to sponsoring the IBACC. IBACC is one of the leading student bodies of the country and since its inception it has initiated a diverse set of activities which include debate, business case competitions, publications etc. The club already has made remarkable achievements, both internationally and nationally, in various areas of extracurricular activities.
