Controlling hundi operations

THE money changers are busy again. Only months ago they were less busy. They are allegedly in hundi operations. The police and other law enforcing agencies allegedly get regular payments from carrying on their illegal activities. A large amount of resources goes out of the country through such clandestine channels. It happens to the detriment of the economy.

Prompt action is needed to control such illegal activities.
