Cop among five killed in city road accidents

Five people, including a police official, were killed and two others injured in three separate road accidents in Sabujbagh, Cantonment and Gulistan areas of the city Wednesday. The deceased were identified as sub-inspector Bikash Kumar Ghosh, 40, of Sabujbagh Police Station, Jewel, 25, a pick-up helper, Mostafizur Rahman, a contractor, Md Sohel, 28, and Asiya Khatun, 35, a nurse of community clinic "Surjer Hashi". — UNB
