Cop dies of heart attack in Sirajganj

A police constable died of cardiac arrest in Shahjadpur upazila in Sirajganj district on Saturday. The dead is Julfikar Ali, 54, son of late Lokman Hossain, a resident of Andhar Kota village under Sujanagar upazila in neighbouring Pabna district. Hasan Shamim Iqbal, officer-in-charge of Shahjadpur Police Station, said Julfikar was on duty at the police station when he suffered the heart attack. He was first taken to Sirajganj Sadar Hospital and he died on way to Dhaka at night. The body was handed over to Julfikar’s family members after an autopsy, according to UNB.
