Cops raid Nur\\\'s nephew\\\'s house: Pistol, bullets seized

Police recovered one pistol and huge bullets during a raid on the house of the nephew of Nur Hossain the prime accused in 7-murder case, at Shimrail under Siddhirganj in Narayuanganj on Saturday night. A team from Siddhirganj Police Station raided the house of Shahjalal Badal, a ward councilor of Narayanganj city and nephew of Nur Hossain, around 10:30pm, police said. During the 1-and-a-half-hour raid, the law enforcers recovered a pistol and 32 rounds of bullet from the house. However, no one was arrested in this regard. On Friday afternoon, police recovered over 22 daggers, three machetes, 2,824 bottles of Phensidyl syrup, huge Yaba tablets and nine bottles of foreign wine during a raid on a truck stand controlled by Nur Hossain in the same area, according to UNB.
