Corona fear affecting education

Friday, 25 September 2020

All kinds of educational institutions remain closed since March 17 after the government announced a shutdown. Now, activities in other areas have resumed but not in the education sector. There are arguments that reopening of educational institutions can spread the virus creating a devastating situation.
However, millions of students in the country are suffering from uncertainty and mental pressure on account of staying home for a long period of time. Even if educational activities are done online or through television, most students cannot benefit. Students of public universities are facing more difficulties. Most of them cannot join online classes. Many cannot dream big any more as their career is threatened. So, the authorities concerned should come up with a fresh package for students for building their future.
